Ken D. Keesee, PT, DPT

Dr. Ken D. Keesee has been in practice since 2008 and is the CEO and Clinical Director of Goldsboro Physical Therapy and Wellness. He grew up in Goldsboro, graduated from High Point University and East Carolina University with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He is married to Courtney Keesee, who is a Licensed Christian Counselor in Goldsboro and together they have 2 children, Kennedy and Carson.  

Dr. Keesee has a broad range of knowledge in general orthopedics, sports medicine, post-surgical rehabilitation, spinal manipulation, dry needling, pain management, and pre-employment testing. 

Under Dr. Keesee’s leadership, GPT has 32 employees and has been voted the “Best Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Clinic” in Wayne County since 2012. GPT recently partnered with the University of Mount Olive in 2022 to evaluate and treat their student athletes. The well trained clinicians at GPT diagnose and treat a vast variety of medical and musculoskeletal conditions on site in their 8000 sq/ft clinic. 

Dr. Keesee is a member of the APTA (American Physical Therapy Association). He is a Clinical Instructor for East Carolina University, and sits on the Board of Directors for both the Wayne County Chamber of Commerce and the Military Affairs Committee. He is currently the Honorary Commander for the 334th Fighter Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
